Well known Bollywood actor Imran Khan has assured his supporters that he will never gamble ever again, following a recent stint in Las Vegas recently whilst shooting his latest motion picture Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. The actor told members of the press that Kareena, his co-star for this upcoming epic, taught him the ways of gambling and the pair spent a number of nights putting these skills to practise; earning a pretty penny in the process. However, as any good Bollywood drama enthusiast will tell you, that is certainly not the end of this story. Upon returning home after the filming of Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Khan made a public affirmation that land based and online casino games are longer part in his life. One could argue he doesn’t know what he is missing, but his decision has very clearly been made.

A wide range of casinos and poker scenes have been featured in movies all over the world, from Bollywood through to the biggest Hollywood blockbusters, and even documentaries and independent films. Although not all (read: very few) have enjoyed rave reviews or huge box office success (Showgirls comes to mind) there are certainly a number of gambling-themed motion pictures which have transcended the ranks and become household names. The company bought the king of pop’s locks at a charity auction hosted by New York’s Carlyle Hotel, paying just under $11,000 USD for what is now a piece of music history. The clump of hair, which was found in a hotel room following a visit by Michael Jackson, will now be immortalised in what is perhaps the most unique way conceivable.
